City

Italy is a fantastic country, rich in history and traditions.

In the spare time we try to make sure that the participants live the full experience of the contact with people from the place they are visiting to appreciate not only the architecture side of the cities but catching the particular tradition of sounds and scents. We want to make sure that our athletes have an unforgettable memory of our country even if it’s for a short time, but without forgetting the main reason of their visit: that is sport!

Venice

The City of Venice and its lagoon was founded in the 5th Century and spreads over 118 small islands.
The entire city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece with works from the most famous artist like Titian, Tintoretto, Giorgione and much more. The City on Water is a city unlike any other. Canals, bridges, churches and palaces galore, can get you lost in centuries of history. And let’s not forget the gondolas! Some of the most impressive buildings not to be missed when in Venice are San Marco Square, Basilica of San Marco, Rialto Bridge and Canal Grande River.

Milan

Milan has always been a rich and important city. It has always been a place full of various famous artists and offers a particular assortment of churches, buildings, monuments and museums. The most important church is the Cathedral which is the third largest church in the world.
From the roof you can experience a beautiful panorama of the city. In the Refectory there is one of the most famous paintings of Leonardo da Vinci: the “Last Supper”. Milan has many historical buildings like Royal Palace which is situated in the south side of Piazza Duomo.
The Sforza Castle is one of the symbols of Milan together with the Madonnina and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Florence

Florence’s museums, palaces, and churches house some of the greatest artistic treasures in the world.
The most popular and important sites in Florence include the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, the Bargello, and the Accademia.
The churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce are veritable art galleries, and the library of San Lorenzo is a magnificent exhibition of Michelangelo’s architectural genius. Wander trough some of the oldest streets in the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and experience the “newest” area of Florence, the Oltrarno of San Miniato al Monte to experience an enchanting view of Florence.

Rome

Rome means history:
Etruscan tombs, Republican meeting rooms, imperial temples, early Christian churches, medieval bell towers, Renaissance palaces, and baroque basilicas. As you stroll through this remarkable city you are walking in the footsteps of the Caesars, St. Peter, Charlemagne, the Popes, and Michelangelo! The Pantheon is the most complete remnant of ancient Rome, and the Coliseum is probably the most recognizable. The Forum was at the center of ancient Rome and therefore the hub of the Mediterranean world. Rome boasts over 900 churches; however, if you were to only visit one, spend a day at the Vatican. Not only is a visit to the Vatican a spiritual pilgrimage, its museums house the largest and most diverse collection of art and sculpture on the planet.
